The gallery space at Sadler's Wells is located in the main foyer of the new building and was designed and constructed as part of the contract for the entire complex.

The main foyer is a single-volume full-height space, tapering in plan. It contains three galleries linked by the staircase. The galleries lead into the building, to bars and a series of flexible function spaces at mezzanine level, as well as to the theatre itself.
